TEMPE, ARIZ. (Dec. 17, 2024) – Focusing on the next phase of its strategic growth plan, Caliente Construction Inc., a woman-owned full-service general contractor, has promoted Micheal L. Hansberger Jr., CPA, CCIFP, to Chief Financial Officer.
In transitioning into his new role, Hansberger succeeds Lisa Autino, CPA, CCIFP, Caliente’s CFO for the past 10 years. Autino will assume the title of CFO Emeritus and serve on the Caliente Governing Board.
Formerly Caliente’s Financial System Manager, Hansberger will assume responsibility for the company's financial accounting and reporting functions. Hansberger has been with Caliente for 5 years.
“Mike’s dedication, expertise, and forward-thinking approach have been invaluable to Caliente’s success over the past five years. His leadership as CFO will be instrumental in guiding us through the next phase of our strategic growth,” said Caliente CEO and President Lorraine Bergman.
A native of Yuma, Arizona, Hansberger earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff. He is Vice President of the Construction Financial Management Association and became President in April, 2025.
Hansberger served as Treasurer/Board Member with the Phoenix Theatre Company for 14 years. When not in the office, he enjoys hiking, traveling, cooking, and collecting vintage cookbooks.

Autino’s retirement comes after more than 30 years in the construction industry. She joined Caliente in 2014 as the firm’s CFO. During her tenure at Caliente, she was named the Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP) of the Year at the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) Conference in 2022.
