This will be the first store for the Oklahoma-based Hobby Lobby in Casa Grande

CASA GRANDE, Ariz. (April 24, 2025) – CBRE’s Nancy McClure and Dave Leathers, D.E. Johnson & Associates, Inc., represented Hobby Lobby in negotiating a 54,027-square-foot lease at 1214 East Florence Blvd., in Casa Grande, Ariz.

Hobby Lobby is taking a portion of a former K-Mart store in the Casa Grande Mall, at the northwest corner of Florence Blvd. & Colorado Street. This will be Hobby Lobby’s first store in Casa Grande and is expected to open on Friday, April 25.

“The Casa Grande area has seen explosive industry and job growth, leading to a significant increase in population,” said McClure, first vice president at CBRE. “Hobby Lobby had been searching in the Casa Grande market for the right location, and this center’s redevelopment plan and the quality of the developer gave the tenant confidence to sign the lease and await its space for a 2025 store opening.”

The landlord, HH Laveen LLC, was self-represented in the transaction. HH Laveen LLC bought the former Casa Grande Mall in 2024, which was completely vacant and is now being completely redeveloped. EOS Fitness will be taking the other portion of the former K-Mart vacant space.

Casa Grande’s strategic location between Phoenix and Tucson, within the Arizona Innovation and Technology Corridor, has fostered business attraction and expansion. The area offers an affordable lifestyle, with living costs averaging 35% to 50% lower than those of metropolitan regions.
