Top-producing broker and former Gilbert Vice Mayor brings broad expertise to boutique firm

Phoenix, Ariz. (Oct. 22, 2026) – Full-service real estate brokerage firm Citywide Commercial today announced the addition of Joan Krueger as Senior Vice President, bringing experience in commercial real estate, municipal leadership and business development to the company’s growing team.

Specializing in metro Phoenix’s East Valley, Krueger represents investors, landlords and tenants across all asset classes, but with a particular background in the office, retail, industrial/flex and land sectors.

A seasoned commercial real estate executive, she also brings decades of experience as a civic leader and entrepreneur. This includes serving as a Gilbert Zoning Commissioner and Commission Chair, member of the Gilbert Town Council and as Gilbert Vice Mayor during one of the Arizona community’s most significant periods of growth. Her career trajectory also includes nearly 30 years in international technology sales, marketing and business development

“Very few professionals can match Joan’s understanding of how Phoenix’s communities have grown and where they’re headed next,” said Todd Hamilton, SIOR, CCIM and Managing Partner at Citywide. “She combines a top-tier brokerage record with real-world leadership in zoning, planning, economic development and business growth. That kind of perspective is a powerful advantage for investors, landlords and tenants navigating today’s market.

Krueger joins Citywide from NAI Horizon, where she consistently ranked among the firm’s Top 10 performers. An alumna of Arizona State University, she remains committed to industry and community, currently serving as Chair of Government Affairs for the Mesa Chamber of Commerce and Vice Chair of the SRP Customer Utility Panel. She is also a commercial real estate educator and co-owner of a commercial real estate training academy.

“I’ve spent my career helping businesses, property owners and communities find opportunities for growth,” said Krueger. “Citywide has built a reputation on its thoughtful, client-focused approach, and I’m excited to contribute to that mission while continuing to serve clients in the East Valley and across metro Phoenix.”
