SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (March 6, 2025) — In 2025 Mark-Taylor Companies celebrates 40 years in the multifamily housing industry. The organization recently announced  the formation of a dedicated C-suite leadership team. The elevated leadership team is committed to guiding the company into its next era of success, staying loyal to its roots as a people-focused organization.

Since its founding in 1985, Mark-Taylor has broadened its services from multifamily development and property management to encompass consulting services and centralized leasing. The establishment of a C-suite marks a significant milestone, ensuring they are equipped with the strategic leadership necessary to drive innovation, operational excellence, and growth.

The inaugural members of the C-suite team consist of tenured leaders at Mark-Taylor, including:

  • John Carlson, Chief Executive Officer: Formerly the President for seven years, John will oversee the company’s strategic direction. As a 22-year Mark-Taylor team member, John will preserve the organization’s commitment to its legacy of 5-star service.
  • Michael Wilson, Chief Operating Officer: Michael, also a 22-year team member and previous Vice President of Operations, will lead execution of operations, centralized leasing, and client relations.
  • Dustin Lacey, Chief Technology Officer: Advancing from the Vice President of Marketing & Technology, Dustin will continuously evolve Mark-Taylor’s technology infrastructure and lead consulting services.
  • Lindsay McMahon, Chief Financial Officer: Formerly the Director of Accounting, Lindsay will lead the company’s financial strategy, compliance and long-term financial sustainability.

“With integrity, loyalty and a shared ambition to exceed expectations, we will continue to deliver the Mark-Taylor difference for our clients, residents, and partners,” said John Carlson, CEO. “As we celebrate 40 years of providing exceptional places to call home, I’m honored to be entrusted alongside this leadership team to guide our future.” The company commemorated its 40th anniversary with an all-company celebration recognizing its history and its team members, the driving force behind its success.
