TUCSON, Ariz. (July 8, 2024) – The Multiple Listing Service of Southern Arizona (MLSSAZ) is pleased to announce it has hired Monica Solis Pena as the new Vice President. Monica joined the team on June 24th, leading a team of five in the Tucson office. Through her role as VP of MLSSAZ, Monica will lead her team, implementing innovative resources, ideas, and solutions to advance the MLSSAZ organization best and, ultimately, participants and subscribers. She will do this by supporting current programs and implementing best practices and MLS policy, among other MLSSAZ initiatives.
Monica has been a part of the real estate industry since 2016, most recently as the Head of Industry Relations for PropStream. Before PropStream, she was the acting Director of Programs with the Council of Multiple Listing Services (CMLS) in Nevada after working as the CEO of the Greater McAllen Association of REALTORS® (GMAR). In her 6 years at GMAR, she led the organization through record fundraising initiatives and the conversion of their MLS and member management systems while simultaneously growing membership to twice its size. Monica was recognized for her service to members and personal and professional achievements by being named the 2021 Tom D. Morton Association Executive of the Year at the 2022 Texas REALTORS® Winter Meeting. Monica received professional NAR, CMLS, and RESO designations, including AHWD, C2EX, RCE, RED-B, CMLX1, CMLX2, and CMLX3 Designations. She was appointed to serve on sixteen (16) Committees, Sub-committees and Work Groups with Texas REALTORS® and NAR.
