Pima County, Ariz. (May 16, 2023) – The Pima County Department of Transportation is looking for your input on transportation needs and concerns in rapidly growing southwest area.
Pima County is studying the West Valencia Road corridor and greater Drexel Heights region to evaluate existing and future transportation conditions and determine strategies and improvements for the transportation network in this area.
The Southwest Area Mobility Study focuses on the area bounded by Ajo Highway to the north, Interstate 19 to the east, Sandario Road to the west and Hermans Road to the south, with 11 miles of Valencia Road as the primary east/west corridor.
There are several ways for the public to participate in the study by either attending one of our pop-up events listed below or participating online.

The feedback period is open until May 26, 2023. The study is expected to be completed by the end of 2023.
