Irvine, CA (June 20, 2025) — PREMIER Design + Build Group proudly announces the addition of James Steele as General Superintendent for the Southwest Region. Steele brings decades of hands-on field leadership experience, deep technical knowledge in construction operations, and a commitment to delivering safe, high-quality, and efficient projects, making him a strategic addition to PREMIER’s expanding national team.

Steele is highly skilled in process scheduling, value engineering, project estimation, contractor coordination, and CPM scheduling. His expertise spans the full construction lifecycle—from preconstruction planning and coordination to installation and closeout. His leadership style emphasizes safety, quality, and collaboration, making him an ideal fit for PREMIER’s people-first culture and client-focused approach.

“James’ track record in field operations, coupled with his ability to lead high-performing teams, will be instrumental as we continue to build momentum in the Southwest,” said Nick Palmer, PREMIER’s Director of Construction in the Southwest. “His leadership will enhance the consistency and quality of our work across the region.”

In his new role, Steele will oversee all field operations across the Southwest Region. He will provide hands-on support and mentorship to field teams, ensuring that all work meets PREMIER’s elevated standards of excellence in quality and safety. He will also focus on strengthening partnerships with clients and subcontractors. His presence will further solidify PREMIER’s reputation for operational excellence in the Southwest market.

“We are thrilled to welcome James to the PREMIER team. He will play a critical role in strengthening our delivery and maintaining the high standards our clients have come to expect,” added Steve Gabbert, President of the Western Region. “His arrival reflects PREMIER’s ongoing investment in top-tier leadership as we continue to expand and set new benchmarks in the construction industry.”
