Chandra Reilly joins Building Design + Construction’s talented 2016 class
TEMPE, AZ –Sundt Construction Inc.’s (www.sundt.com) Hospitality Project Director Chandra Reilly has earned a coveted 40 Under 40 Award from Building Design + Construction (BD+C), one of the construction industry’s leading trade publications.
Reilly received the national recognition based on her leadership skills, inventiveness, sustained career progress, people skills, client relations, academic training, dedication, personal integrity, technical skills and community outreach/volunteer work.
“There is something very humbling about receiving recognition like this at a national scale from a well-respected publication,” said Reilly. “It certainly reinforces the responsibility I have to continue pushing myself to do great work and to bring my best self to the job every day. I work with some incredible people who make me look good just by being themselves, and for that I am always grateful.”
Reilly has been with Sundt since 2013 and is responsible for the development and leadership of the general contractor’s hospitality construction work. Her group is working on $250 million in hospitality projects, all of which have been acquired since Reilly took on her current role.
In addition to her professional experience, Reilly has been active within her community. For the past 12 years, she and her husband have supported the Sojourner Center, an organization that works to keep women safe and provides them with opportunities to re-start their lives after leaving abusive situations. Reilly participates in Sundt’s nonprofit organization, the Sundt Foundation, and also takes part in the American Heart Association Heart Walk and Thirst-Aid bottled water drive to help the homeless in Phoenix.
An alumna of Arizona State University, Reilly has a bachelor’s degree in Global Business, a minor in Spanish and certificates in International Marketing and International Finance.
