Victory Police Motorcycles, LLC of Tucson (Nita Buckner, member) purchased the 14,730-square-foot industrial building on 1.21 acres at 1410 S Alvernon Way in Tucson for $595,000 ($40 PSF). The partial two-story automotive facility was built in 1978 with 12 grade level doors and frontage along Alvernon Way near 22nd Street.
The property has been vacant for two years and was banked owned by Commerce Bank of Arizona when it sold in this REO sale.
Nita Buckner told us they did not yet have a moving date from their current location at 1106 N Anita Avenue but added, “We are very excited about our new location and hope to be there soon.”
A local success story, Victory Police Motorcycles is a Tucson-based company known worldwide for its ‘American Police Motorcycles’. The company was founded by Motor Officers for Motor Officers and is proud of their motorcycles being American-made by American workers.
Polaris Industries, Inc. introduced its 'made in the USA', large displacement cruiser motorcycles under the brand name ‘Victory’ in the spring of 1998, making Polaris one of the newest contenders on the motorcycle market. The brand name ‘Victory’ originates from the code name for the project, instead of naming it Project X, Polaris employees gave it the symbolic name ‘Victory’ and it stuck!
Financing for the facility purchase was done by Seacoast Commerce Bank.
Brandon Rodgers, CCIM, Industrial Specialist with Cushman & Wakefield | Picor, represented the seller and Pat Connor with Carter Capital Realty & Investments, LLC represented the buyer in this transaction.
