TUCSON, ARIZONA – COMSovereign sold its building at 5120 South Julian Drive to investors in a sale leaseback for $15.8 Million ($113 PSF). The 140,000-square-foot building was purchased by AZCOMS, an affiliate of COMSovereign in January 2021.
The Tucson production facility advances the Company's "Made in America" commitment, and is located on 12.7 acres in Tucson.. The Tucson facility serves as the Company's principal manufacturing site for the majority of its products.
Based in Dallas, COMSovereign has assembled a portfolio of communications technology companies whose combined capabilities enable connectivity across the entire data transmission spectrum. Through strategic acquisitions and organic research and development efforts, COMSovereign has become a US-based pure-play communications provider, ready and able to provide LTE Advanced and 5G-NR telecom solutions.
The Company has also made improvements and retrofits worth more than $1.5 million to the Tucson facility and installed production assembly lines required to commence initial manufacturing for its InduraPower and Drone Aviation business units. Production of the Company's 4G LTE Advanced and 5G radios and electronics products. DragonWave-X's current generation of Harmony Enhanced and Multi-Channel (MC) model radios for mobile network backhaul infrastructure continues to be produced and is being ramped up by Benchmark Electronics, Inc. (NYSE: BHE) under an expanded production agreement announced last year in September.
