Pathways School

TUCSON, AZ (July 29, 2025) — A new educational facility is planned for East Tucson following the $1,300,000 ($155 PSF) purchase of a prominent commercial property at 450 N Pantano Road. The buyer, Pathways Properties Tucson, LLC, is affiliated with Pathways School & Evaluation Center K-12, a private educational provider for children with learning differences, which is expanding in the Tucson area.

The 8,391-square-foot building, situated on a 49,640-square-foot parcel just north of Broadway Boulevard, was previously owned by The Duly Elected Trustees for Builders Lodge No. 60, F & A.M. The property was marketed and sold by Joey Castillo and Andreas Castillo of VOLK Company, who represented the seller. The buyer was represented by Nicholas Travassos and Erik Chapman, CCIM of Chapman Management Group, LLC.

“This will be their second location in Tucson, the first is at 4525 E Broadway,” Nicholas Travassos said. “Pathways has witnessed a huge increase in demand from parents, students and families over the past few years. So much so that rather than turn families away or continue to place them on a wait list, they decided to expand. We were very excited to be able to assist in their search for a new place.”

Pathways also has schools in Gilbert and Mesa.

The site offers ample space and flexible zoning, making it well-suited for educational use. Pathways School plans to repurpose the facility as part of its growing network of specialized educational campuses, with the new Tucson location designed to serve students requiring a personalized academic environment.

This acquisition reflects ongoing demand for centrally located properties with redevelopment potential, particularly for uses that serve community needs such as education, wellness, and nonprofit services.

For more information,  Joey Castillo can be reached at 520.495.2234, Andreas Castillo is at 520.495.3220; Erik Chapman, CCIM, is at 520.622.5544 and Nicholas Travassos should be contacted at 520.730.8003.
