
TUCSON, Arizona (Sept. 30, 2026) — Stellar Steel Holdings LLC, managed by Ryan Schuff, has purchased the Horizon Steel property at 2325 W. Curtis Road in Tucson for $5.3 million. The real estate transaction closed September 21, coinciding with Stellar Steel’s announcement that it completed an asset purchase from Tucson-based Horizon Steel.
The seller was the Stephen J. Caffall Revocable Trust, Caffall is also President of Horizon Steel. Horizon Steel has a longstanding presence in Tucson.
The property includes three industrial buildings totaling 45,040 square feet on approximately 9.32 acres. The purchase price equates to approximately $117.67 per square foot.
Built in 1983, the steel fabrication facility features steel framing with metal siding, two grade-level doors, and a fenced and gated yard. The property consists of two parcels zoned CI-2 for general industrial use.
The acquisition supports Stellar Steel’s operating expansion. In its announcement, the company said the Horizon Steel asset purchase expands its equipment, resources and capabilities, positioning it to support larger and more complex projects.
“We’re investing in our people, equipment, and capabilities to better serve our customers and pursue new opportunities,” said Ryan Schuff, president and founder of Stellar Steel. “This is an exciting new chapter for Stellar Steel, and we’re looking forward to what’s ahead.”
Stellar Steel provides structural steel fabrication, erection and processing services. Its processing capabilities include steel beams, tubing, channels, angles and steel plate.
The company also announced that it relocated its office from Peoria to Phoenix to strengthen its presence and better serve customers throughout Arizona and across the United States. The announcement did not detail its plans for operations at the Tucson property.
